RETURNS AND EXCHANGES


The following policy applies to returns, refunds, and exchanges not covered by our Limited Warranty. The Limited Warranty covers defective and damaged products and is listed further down the page.

30 Day Return Period
Cood Racks LLC has a 30-day return policy. If more than 30 days have gone by since your purchase, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange. Retain the original packaging during this 30-day period, because it is required to complete a return. We are unable to process returns for merchandise that is not ordered directly from Good Racks.

Product Condition Upon Return
To be eligible for a refund, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. All items must be returned in their original packaging. If you received the original packaging in a damaged condition, please indicate this when you submit your return or exchange authorization request, so that alternate instructions may be provided. If you have any questions about how to re-package your order please let us know. Any damage due to incorrect packing will invalidate your return.

Return Authorization
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. To start the return process, please email sales@goodracks.com . We will respond to your request within 5 business days. No merchandise will be accepted for return or exchange unless pre-approved. Please include the following information in your email: your name, order number, date of purchase, Serial number if applicable, whether you are requesting a refund or an exchange, and the reason for this action. If your return is pre-approved you will receive an approval notification email.

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. If the items returned do not match those authorized, we will not accept the return. It will not be returned to you except at your expense. If you have requested a refund and we have approved it, a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 10 business days.

Restocking Fee
All refunds for non-defective items are subject to a $4 restocking fee. This fee will be deducted from your refund.

Exchanges
All items can be exchanged with any of our products which are of equal or lesser value to the returned item. Items that are defective or damaged will be exchanged for free, and both the return and replacement shipping paid for by Good Racks. Should the customer need an exchange for a rack of a different size, the customer must pay return shipping, and Good Racks will pay the replacement shipping (limit 1 exchange per rack ordered). All exchanges must occur within 30 days of purchase and are subject to approval by Good Racks LLC. For all exchange requests please send us an email at sales@goodracks.com. We will respond with an exchange approval or denial notification within 5 business days. If your exchange has been approved, please follow the shipping instructions below to return the original product. We will ship a replacement product within ten days of receiving your item.

Return Shipping
A return address will be supplied in the return/exchange approval notification email. Please include your order number on a piece of paper inside your return and write the order number on the exterior of the box before shipping. You are responsible for paying the return shipping for any item. We strongly suggest using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

LIMITED WARRANTY


Every Good Racks ski rack or snowboard rack is warranted to the original purchaser only to be free from defects in material and workmanship. Good Racks will replace any rack which, after examination, is determined by Good Racks to be defective in material or workmanship for a period of six (6) months after the date of purchase. Return of the defective rack to Good Racks may be required. A copy of the proof of purchase must be submitted to Good Racks.

This warranty does not apply to any product except for our ski racks and snowboard racks. This warranty does not apply to damage that Good Racks determines to be from repairs made or attempted by anyone other than Good Racks, misuse, alterations, abuse, normal wear and tear, excessive use, or accidents, any of which will void this warranty.

Warranty registration is not necessary to obtain the applicable warranty.

To obtain warranty replacement, you must first contact Good Racks at sales@goodracks.com . You may be required to provide pictures and/or video of the claimed defect. If Good Racks determines that your rack qualifies for warranty replacement, then, at Good Racks’s option, Good Racks will either ship to you a replacement part for you to install or require you to return the rack to Good Racks for replacement. Good Racks also may require you to return the rack if Good Racks cannot determine from the warranty diagnosis whether your rack qualifies for warranty replacement.

If replacement of your rack is required, Good Racks will provide you with a prepaid shipping label and accept responsibility for damage during shipping only if you package the returned rack exactly as it was shipped to you using all of the original shipping materials. If you no longer have the original materials then you are solely responsible for the cost of shipping the rack to Good Racks. If you do not package the rack exactly as it was shipped to you using the original materials, then you will be solely responsible for any damage during shipping. For all valid warranty replacements, Good Racks will pay for return shipping to you.

ACCEPTANCE OF THE EXCLUSIVE REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT REMEDIES DESCRIBED HEREIN IS A CONDITION OF THE CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF EVERY SKI RACK AND SNOWBOARD RACK. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THIS CONDITION, YOU SHOULD NOT PURCHASE THE PRODUCT. IN NO EVENT SHALL GOOD RACKS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY COSTS, ATTORNEY FEES, EXPENSES, LOSSES OR DELAYS ALLEGED TO BE AS A CONSEQUENCE OF ANY DAMAGE TO, FAILURE OF, OR DEFECT IN ANY PRODUCT INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY CLAIMS FOR LOSS OF PROFITS. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THIS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTIES, WRITTEN OR ORAL. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GOOD RACKS DISCLAIMS ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR USE OR PURPOSE; TO THE EXTENT SUCH DISCLAIMER IS NOT PERMITTED BY LAW, SUCH IMPLIED WARRANTIES ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THE APPLICABLE EXPRESS WARRANTY AS DESCRIBED ABOVE. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU, THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.
